CLUB UPDATES

Queen's Head FC have changed their Away kit to Red/White Shirts and Red Shorts.

Arrow FC have had a change of Secretary, Colin Baines taking over the role.

Could all Club Secretaries double check the Colours of the opposition when being the Away side as we've had a couple of Kit Clashes this season already. It is the Away team that changes.

Also a reminder that the Home team is responsible for providing two Matchballs per game except in Cup matches when each team supplies a ball each.

"OFFICIAL WORLD CUP BALL COULD BE YOURS..........................."

Thanet Galaxy were kindly made the recipients of cash raised by a local off license who raffled off an official 2014 World Cup Adidas Brazuca football ~ you may have seen the piece in the Extra. The winner of the raffle kept the Champagne that was part of the prize but gave the ball back to the off license to give to us as they had no use for it. Much as it is a wonderful specimen of a football it is a bit / far to good for our needs so we thought that we would offer it to the Thanet Sunday League clubs to acquire in a straight, single bid auction.

The ball, in it's original box, still retails at £99.99p and we would like to offer it for auction to the highest bidder that beats the reserve of £50.00p that we have placed upon it. We can make much more use of the money than we ever can of the ball.

Any club that would like a chance to win the ball can do so by emailing me at  secretary@thanetgalaxy.co.uk with their bid (over £50.00) The auction will close on Friday 17th October at 9.00pm. I will reply to the winner and the ball can be collected from our weekly training session at Chatham House School on Thursday 23rd October in return for the cash.
