The next batch of fixtures has now been posted on the website, but don't worry too much about the "TBC" against all the referees names. From now on your referee will not be known to you until you arrive at your venue on the Sunday morning, so as clubs you will need to visit the referees changing room and ask who is refereeing your particular fixture.
If for any reason you do not have a referee for your game, you will be contacted by the league informing you of this, with as much notice as possible.

Albion Athletic official Patrick Dyett has been permanently suspended from football by the Kent County FA.
He was found guilty of a serious offence against a match official at St Lukes ground in Ramsgate last August. He had earlier been found guilty in Magistrates Court, and was given an 18 month suspended prison sentence, ordered to do 200 hours community service, pay £500 compensation to the victim, and £120 costs.
KCFA chief executive Keith Masters said; "Mr Dyett has been informed of the decision via his club".
Albion Athletic have subsequently been found guilty by Kent County Football Association of "failure to control it's players and/or officials", and have been fined £750, of which £500 is suspended until 31st May 2010, and the £500 may be invoked in part or in full if found guilty of further misconduct within that period.

It has been confirmed that there will be no TSFL fixtures schelduled for Sunday 21st December, so if you're considering having a "team night out" for Christmas and worried about your players making it in time the following morning, then Saturday 20th would probably solve your problem.
However any Kent Cup games that are not played in December due to postponements, WILL take place that Sunday 21st December.

The Kent County Football Association recently presented our TSFL Chairman, Ernie McGarvey, with a special award to mark his services to grassroots football, and in particular his 55 years as a qualified referee. It was in 1954 when Ernie first became a referee aged just 18, in between playing football for his County and winning lots of medals both for football, and athletics.
In 1968 Ernie moved to Thanet and started officiating in our local leagues, and a 37 year association with the Thanet Works league commenced, and Ernie was elected Chairman of the league in 1984, having previously been Vice Chairman.
Most of the Thanet "footballing community" would have had the pleasure of Ernie's refereeing style over the years, and he still referees over 60 games a season, which is why he has so far clocked up over 2'000 games as a match official.
Many thanks Ernie for your tireless devotion to football in the Thanet area, and congratulations on your very well deserved award.
